Season is underway. Hoosiers struggling against Florida Int'l, up just 2 late 2nd.
Tennessee is losing to App St
They're in OT. Tennessee about to have 3rd and goal.
IU pulling away
Vols fumble and fall on it in the endzone. Touchdown.
That game will haunt them for quite some time.
Unless they run the table.
Welcome to the Big 12, Houston!
That right there is the longest possible TD return you can have in American football. You have to call that 110 yards
James Conner with 2 TDs in the first half in first game back from cancer
That was a helluva game! What a great opening weekend of college football
Seminoles getting exposed tonight. I'll take that all day every day.
I think I started sucking peoples' dicks too soon
Seminoles score 3 tds in 7 minutes and now lead
Fuck the SEC
What a crazy turn of events. Noles were complete ass in the 1st half.
What a letdown after the amazing lineup of games last weekend. Not a single legit matchup on Saturday.
It's almost like college football sucks or something.
They're playing a game at the track in Bristol tomorrow. Expecting 150k plus. They're expecting to sell over half a million beers.
I'm not sure about that massive 700 ton video board they have strung up over the field
That thing looks tiny compared to Dallas.
But Dallas' is suspended and hangs straight down so there are no lateral forces at work. The one at Bristol is moored on the sides, creating very different physics.
Guess someone was really strugging with what 'CFB' was
I understand. Just saying for as big a deal they made about it, I figured it would be bigger.
yeah I am sure they just threw that up there without worrying about the different physics of it
Not really. You're probably not considering the difference in radius.
Dallas is big, but all the seats are relatively close the field, limiting the total number of seats in any given row.
The difference in radius is actually greater than these pics show, since they use slightly different scales.
I think he was talking about the video board in the middle above the field. Not the stadium.
The two big Dallas video boards are ridiculous, but the Bristol ones are still huge: 30' x 63' and there are four of them.
They look smaller than that for the reason I said in my previous post, but look at the shadow they cast on the field.
Well, I was only talking about the length on the sides. The Dallas board runs 20 to 20, it's 60 yards (this I already knew).
I never took stadium size into consideration, Mo, I was looking at the yardage on the field. Thought it went left 40 to right 35, so 63 ft was actually 12 feet smaller than my estimate.
Where Bristol "wins", however, is that it's the same on all 4 sides. So the actual console itself is the biggest because it's a massive square box.
Too many fucking acronyms. Sick of it.
Is this a good site? Looking for some place to watch the Punk fight tomorrow. I'll probably end up buying it.
Yeah, that's where I watched Diaz/McG. It was very good quality. Came from the UK, could tell because it had a BT Sport graphic.
Wait who didn't know what CFB meant?
I think Cheeses understood, just didn't like it.
I started the thread on my phone, all about being minimalist.
Who the fuck calls college football "CFB"?
Reminded me of some gay gentleman soccer thing. "Didja see THS take on Man-U in the prelims of the PLC?"
Yeah that's totally a phrase soccer fans say
I got banned from there for saying Penn State fans love a guy that enabled child rape for 30 years. I hope every Penn State fan and mod on that subreddit burns in hell
It's a very common internet abbreviation. Don't know why it got your panties in a bunch.
Everyone would call them Spurs.
Just cleared my "ignore" list because it made threads like this impossible to understand.
This isn't sustainable.
cheeses is on your ignore list?
I assume he means Fuller
Watching Louisville/Syracuse on DVR delay. The Cardinals went up 21-0 in like 8 minutes, largely on 2 long pass.
