    There's a good candidate at 1:00 in.

Would be first in line on the firing squad in Chae's America.

One of the weirdest NBA storylines... top pick Markelle Fultz injured his shoulder. As a result he changed his shooting form and can't shoot anymore. He's 100% healthy and can't adjust back to his old shooting form for some reason, basically has the yips. He shot 41% from 3 in college.

It's not just yips. A guy with the yips can't throw straight even when he's mechanically fine. Though I'm sure there's a mental component to this, it's also obviously mechanical. Old video shows that he used to have a bit of Lonzo Ball in him that he cleaned up in college. He'll probably be able to clean it up again.

A bunch of rookies are playing great this year, but it's not unreasonable for a 19YO who got hurt to put it together in his second season. He doesn't need to shoot like Tatum. He just needs to shoot better than Simmons / Ball. Given his history of shooting well, he's more likely to improve his shot than either of those guys.

There's also a question of NBA defense > NCAA defense. A guy with a Ball-esque, across-the-body mechanical flaw can only shoot off the dribble in one direction. NBA defenders will pick up on that and force him the other way.

Yeah it's some combo of mental with mechanical problems. Given he was able to shoot well in college, he should be able to correct it. Many players have been able to turn themselves from bad shooters to good shooters throughout the course of their career (most notable is probably Jason Kidd) so given that Fultz was already a good shooter at one point is a good sign.

Also random NBA history fact, Dennis Rodman tried to add a 3 point shot to his game as a Piston. He wasn't going crazy but at one point he was average 1 3 point attempt a game. He never got good at it (also played in an era where players of his positions were not encouraged to shoot 3's) so he scrapped it all together until he got to the Bulls and it was novelty to see him chuck up a 3 during blowouts.

Bill Laimbeer started taking a couple of 3s per game in his 30s, so he might have gotten the idea from him.

EXTREMELY unusual for a C to shoot 3s at that time, obviously. In retrospect, it seems like an obvious strategy.

 at Chris Paul leading the Rockets through a secret back entrance into the Clippers lockerroom after a chippy game that included
Blake Griffin getting into it with Mike D'Antonio.
