Will Rock get in?
I predict: yes
Hoffman is probably still a couple years away.
Raines, Bagwell and Ivan Rodriguez get in. Nobody else reaches threshold.
Hoffman and Vlad Guerrero come in around 70%.
Also, Bonds and Clemens end up just below 70%.

Roger Clemens is at 54.1% and Barry Bonds at 53.8%. Only three players ever have been over 50% and not eventually been inducted.
Damn... I guess there are still a lot of old, bitter sportswriters out there who will never vote for them.
Sucks for Hoffman to have missed the call by 5 votes but he should be elected next year I would think.
2018 will feature first timers in Chipper Jones, andruw jones, Kerry Wood, Carlos Zambrano, Scott Rolen, Omar Vizquel, Hideki Matsui and Scott Podsednik. Just put a few of those names in there for obvious Chicago links.
Chipper Jones is a first ballot HOF. I'd expect Hoffman and Vlad to go in as well. Thome probably waits a year.
Yep. He is eligible with about 25 other players in the first year of eligibility. Obviously not going into HOF.
I don't see why Thome wouldn't be a 1st ballot HOFer. Only 6 players all time have more HR's and 2 of those are tainted by PEDs.
Because a major chunk of his career was as DH?
Raines has deserved it for a long time. The #2 leadoff hitter of all time by a wide margin. He's also credible as just a left fielder.
