So, a lot of young boys being violated?
Wait, what college??
After seeing these guys up close, Hayden should be on the top line and DeBrincat paired with AA at LW. There are new defensive pairings too but we all know those won't last past the next two periods.
Nazis like Zomo love the 2nd line (14-88).
1 goal on 44 shots and an 0/6 PP
Looked like the first round all over again
Hawks have scored more than 2 goals just once in their last 7 (AZ)
Teams sucks even more than before. Wonder if Stan has some ideas?
HFS is this team awful.
They got one? Well, look at that.
More Lance Bouma?
We're soon getting to the place where one of the big three might have to be moved, if even possible.
Not so easy since the ones you want to move the most have NMC's i.e. Seabrook. Keith seems to have aged drastically in the last few years as well.
Not an overreaction at all.
You don't think we're approaching that decision? I'm not suggesting this week or even this year but I can definitely see this coming to a head as early as next season.
I put the odds of one of Kane, Toews, or Keith being moved in the next 2 years at <0.000001%
I think the question is what would be the purpose of the trade. I don't see how trading any of them brings back enough to fill current holes and the one created by the trade and if they were to be dealt to start a rebuild, they'd have to take back a lot of garbage.
Their best bet for now is to hope the kids develop more, Crow can hold the fort while that happens, and the rest of the league settles down to their level (which is happening since everyone is moving toward being capped). I'm not really sure who's good in the NHL. I don't buy the Blues, the Lightning probably aren't as good as their record, and the Kings are relying on the same guys who haven't been to the playoffs in 3 years. The goal is to somehow be near the top of the blob and get hot in the playoffs.
Agreed. October hockey is as meaningless as the first 40 minutes of an NBA game
True, although that doesn't mean I think the Hawks are good or expect them to be good.
My thinking is we have another first round exit and the window is officially closed. No sense putting off the inevitable if that happens. Of course, the great fear is that this crop of youngsters just aren't very good. Already seeing signs of that but at least Q is playing them, which is, in itself, a victory. I think they need to go back to 19-88 to see if that sparks something because neither of them look like they're enjoying themselves this year.
Just put the game on the tablet. Murphy laid someone out a few minutes ago. No score late 1st.
It's the night you love to hate
Quick 2 spot for DA GOOD GUYS
ENG to seal it.
Great energy for most of what I saw of the 3rd.
What a shitty fake “rivalry”.
Can't buy a goal tonight. 3rd underway, no score.
Turned it on just in time to see Crow's streak end
Getting outshot 13-2 in the 3rd and now down 2.
Maybe I'm their jinx?
They are absolutely lost on offense. Also, Seabrook has reached new depths with his shit tonight. Under contract for another 7 years!!!
Blackhawks will host Bruins in 2019 Winter Classic at Notre Dame Stadium, per report
Sadly, I can easily identify a bunch of my dopey friends that are frothing over this news.
This is a South Sider's dream. My buddy (last name Zawacki) is creaming his shit on the book. They'll shut down Western Ave and have an outside viewing party.
CHI 28 BOS 24
Hawks look fucking terrific again.
Given Stan's "accountability" tirade after the playoffs, I wonder at what point he decides this isn't good enough and holds someone accountable.
Q should probably be fired soon.
Team looks awful
I'll bet you he doesn't get fired before at least Christmas/Channukah/New Years' time.
I'm done, back to football.
Darling is gonna shut us out, isn't he?
